Montreal Overseas Transport was
formed in March 1980 as a Canadian based, inter-national
freight forwarder. In November 1982, the name was changed
to M.O.T. Intermodal Shipping Inc., to emphasize
the intermodal concept of the company. M.O.T. opened
it's first U.S. office in February 2003 located in Rochester,
NY. This office is licensed as an International Freight
Forwarder and a Customs House Broker, as well as being
certified as an IAC for air freight. A branch office
in Texas was opened in January, 2006.
In a spirit of partnership with our customers, we take pride in offering high quality, personalized service. We tailor our services to each of our customer's individual needs.

Founder: Ole Enderslev
Born in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1950, Mr. Enderslev started as an apprentice in freight forwarding in 1967. He moved to the United States in 1973 and was responsible for setting up a warehouse and distribution centre for a Danish freight forwarding company.
After four years in the United States, he settled in Montreal in 1977. In 1980, he was a founding partner of M.O.T., and in 1987, he became sole owner.

Trade & Pricing Manager, North America: Mia Ginter
Born in Chiswick, England in 1961, Ms. Ginter started her career in the international transport field fresh from university in 1985 with a Montreal freight forwarder.
In 1986, Ms.Ginter joined a steamship carrier in the capacity of manager of their export documentation department. She later went on to become the General Manager for all four Canadian offices in Vancouver, Montreal, Toronto and Halifax.
In 1996, Ms.Ginter commenced employment as General Manager of M.O.T. Intermodal Shipping.
